Cleaning your footstool is easier than you may think. You can regularly maintain them by vacuuming them with an upholstery attachment to get rid of any dust, debris and hairs - especially if you have pets!

Spillages may happen on your footstool, but that’s okay. Getting them up as quickly as possible can do the trick, before it sets into a stain. We suggest using a damp cloth with lukewarm water and a light cleaning detergent. Blot the area rather than rubbing it around, as you don’t want to make it worse. With a separate dry cloth, remove any excess soap or residue, then leave to dry naturally. Your footstool will be as good as new!

We recommend that you do not use any harsh cleaning detergents on the fabric of your footstool as this can damage it. For leather footstools, you can take the extra step to maintain it by using a leather spray, which varnishes it and protects it from scratches.

There’s not one size that fits all when it comes to the height of your footstool - we understand people have different preferences as to what’s comfortable for them. 

For those who prefer to rest their feet lower to the ground, we have options available with our low-seated footstools. Alternatively, some people may like a footstool that’s level to their sofa, almost like an extension of it, so they can stretch their legs and comfortably stretch out.
