Fabric Footstools FAQs
We have a wide variety of luxurious fabrics that our footstools come in, including Arlington, Costa and Boucle. Each fabric is unique in its own way, but what all of our fabrics have in common is how stylish, cosy and versatile they look on our footstools.
Our Boucle fabric is a luxurious footstool material whose cotton and acrylic yarn has a lot of loops and curls, creating a soft teddy bear inspired texture. It’s a popular option for its cosy and homely look that adds warmth into living rooms, conservatories, offices and so much more.
The Costa fabric is made from polyester and it is recognised by its chunky pipe structure that’s soft to the touch. It looks stylish and cosy in the living space, and its tactile texture massages the feet after a long day!
We also have the Arlington fabric, which is made from polyester and designed with a speckled, brush velvet appearance. It’s popular for its versatility as it complements both modern and traditional homes, and it’s easy to clean.

We generally recommend our customers to clean their fabric footstools by vacuuming them regularly. A vacuum attachment will be sure to remove a build-up of any dust or pet hair that accumulates over time, making your footstool look refreshed again.
If you have any accidental spillages, cleaning them up as early as possible always helps. You can do this by spot cleaning the spillage with a damp cloth (mixed with a light detergent and warm water) in gentle circular motions - you want to avoid rubbing too harshly, as this may spread the stain further. With a separate cloth, wipe away any soap residue that may be left behind.
Blot the area with a towel to remove any excessive moisture in the fabric, and then leave it to dry naturally for a few hours. Your footstool should look as though nothing happened!
Our small footstools measure 340mm wide x 230mm deep with a height of 198mm. They’re a cute and cosy addition to any living room, allowing you to rest your feet as you relax in your chair or sofa after a long day.
Our large footstools measure 450mm wide with a depth of 330mm and are available in a variety of heights. We understand each and every sofa is different, and everyone has their different preferences when it comes to how high they’d like to rest their feet. That’s why we designed different heights for our large footstools. You can choose from either 264mm, 275mm or 295mm high.
We understand that finding the right footstool is also about its shape, as well as its size and materials.
Our fabric footstools are available in rectangular shapes, allowing you to stretch out your legs while you have a cup of tea. Their versatile shape makes them work well with different furniture, such as corner sofas and arm chairs.
We also offer a range of cylindrical footstools that have a compact and rounded shape, and they are great space savers in smaller rooms.
Yes, you can choose the legs on your fabric footstool. We have contemporary and traditional leg styles, made from natural wood or mahogany finish. Everything from the colours, size, shape, materials and legs can be customised when it comes to creating your perfect footstool!
