Caring for a round fabric and tartan foot stool is a lot easier than what you may think. Regularly vacuuming it with an upholstery attachment is great for getting rid of any dust or hairs that may build up over time, especially if you have pets. 

If you have any spillages on your footstool, we recommend that you quickly blot the area with a damp cloth and some light cleaning detergent. Don’t rub or press into the spillage, as this may cause it to set into a stain. With a separate damp cloth, remove any soap residue and gently press a towel on the area to soak up excess water. Finally, leave it to dry naturally for a few hours. 

Leather footstools can be easily cleaned by using a microfibre cloth to remove any dust. To remove stains, follow the same process as you would with a fabric footstool, but for a smooth finish you could apply some leather conditioner to make it really glow and look as good as new!
