National Handmade Day

National Handmade Day is celebrated every year on the first Saturday in April. So April 2nd this year is a day to honour, celebrate and recognize handmade craftsmanship and the people who perform such wonderful acts in the crafts world.

The reason we are celebrating the occasion is because Footstools Direct is a leading UK furniture manufacturer and online retailer. Fabulous speedy service. Footstool arrived within 3 days. Perfect for what we wanted as present for mum. Sturdy and good quality. We were impressed! We sent for sample swatches beforehand which I would recommend . However though I asked for 1 day delivery they took 10 days to arrive which is the fault of Royal Mail, not the company ,but allow extra time if you're ordering on a deadline.
